During his time at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr. Kanazawa was an Examiner and Chief Examiner with the Plant Variety Protection Office. Mr. Kanazawa was responsible for the establishment of UPOV Test Guidelines, as an expert of the technical working parties on the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV). He joined Hiraki & Associate in 2006.
