In Japan, microorganism deposition must be made before the filing date of a PCT or Japanese patent application.

You can file multiple patent term extension (PTE) applications for a single patent based on multiple regulartory approvals, and patent term extension (PTE) applications for multiple patents based on a single regulartory approval.
